Funeral For A Friend playing Bridgend....
Funeral For A Friend are to headline at this charity event taking place at the Bridgend Recreation Centre on 10 July 2008, proceeds are going to the Samaritans. The event is being promoted by Matt Ford of the Music Station, Bridgend. SMS is providing a Logic Ethos rig on Front on House, power comes from MC2 digital amps and mixing with a Yamaha M7CL. Monitoring is catered for with 8 Logic LM15s powered by MC2 and Yamaha amplification. Technical support is provided by Nick Fowler and Ian Smith whilst control of the in-house lighting is by Tom Hughes. Further details including tickets and support acts will be posted soon.

SMS is pleased to have been chosen to provide sound and engineer services for this annual industry party on the 10 July. SMS will be supplying Logic System CA compact array powered by didgital MC2 amps. Engineer in charge is Lenny Molyneaux.
NEWS! SMS provides Sound Reinforcement for 'Kids in Glass Houses' at their debut album launch.....
Newly signed to Roadrunner Records Kids in Glass Houses from South Wales performed at HMV Cardiff to promote their debut album 'Smart Casual' to 300+ fans. SMS put up Logic Ethos on FOH, Logic SM15 monitors on fold back all powered by MC2 amps. A Yamaha M7CL 48 channel desk provided mixing and outboard; result - a fantastic sound.
SMS is currently providing a full Sound Reinforcement system for Milkwoodjam, Swansea. With 10k front of house and 3 k for monitors the system is able to produce high volumes while retaining excellent headroom. The system in brief is -
FOH - Peavey UL215H and UL215S, Yamaha P7000s amplifiers, Yamaha MG32/14FX analogue desk, Behringer speaker management, 8 channels of expander/gate/compresser/limiter and 31 band EQ.
Monitors - Logic System LM15s, Allen & Heath GL2800M 40 channel 16 send desk, 31 band digital EQ across all monitor sends, 4 channels of DI and rounded off with Shure Beta 58 and SM57 microphones.
Milkwoodjam has already hosted a number of fantastic acts and will be presenting Welsh legends Budgie on the 2nd February and the new British Country and Western star Lucie Diamond on the 23rd February. Don't miss Swansea's best live music venue, book now for a thumping good night.
SMS is working for another Welsh legend when we provide sound reinforcement for Racing Cars at the Martyrs Club, Dowlais on Saturday 26th January. We will be providing a Logic System Ethos VA line array rig with LM15 monitors, MC2 amplification and 'Digital Mixing' with a Yamaha M7CL 48 channel desk.
